Summary of Event:This session will address the human rights situation of Haitians in human mobility in the Caribbean region, with a focus on asylum seeking women and girls. The event will also propose a rights-based regional framework and mechanism for the protection of Haitians in human mobility in the Caribbean in line with principles of humanitarian assistance, protection, cooperation, and international solidarity.
