About me
I have a multidisciplinary background in development studies with a special emphasis on Human Rights and Peace studies. I equally have a solid background in Human Resource Development and Project management. I hold a Masters in Peace, Conflict, and International Relations.I am a very dynamic person with good communication skills and a passion for people and new challenges, dedicated to the service of humanity. It is in this spirit that I have worked extensively with civil society organizations in the area of human rights and sustainable development. I have served as a Protection Officer in the National Commission on Human Rights and Freedoms in Cameroon and have held strategic positions with Civil Society organizations operating within the domain of human rights and sustainable development. I have a strong drive to perform and an inclination to innovate. Most of all, I can multi-task and have an eagerness to learn. I am equally very comfortable with conflict analysis, negotiation, and project evaluation. I am also well-grounded in United Nations Peace Operations. I am currently undertaking studies in disability, community development, and counter-terrorism. As a member of the Activism and Leadership Committee of Amnesty International Australia, (AIA) I work alongside other activists to lead, coordinate and develop human rights activism through varied strategies to increase human rights impact. I am currently a member of the Diversity Inclusion and Wellbeing Steering group of AIA, working with a team to promote and harness effective policies that enhance inclusiveness and diversity in AIA and Australia. I watch football religiously and believe in the power of art in bringing about change.
